It was not the weekend I expected. The Green Machine Reloaded won the poster contest, I finished first in the Olympiad, but then the wheels fell off... GMR didn't complete a single run on Sunday. While I'd spent countless hours working on GMR, on the side I had built Crater, what was supposed to be a contender for the low-cost prize.

The Little Green Machine 3, also known as Xr-B4, won first place in the fire-fighting division at the Canadian National Robot Games. He put out all three candles, and returned home successfully during two of the runs. His final combined time for the 2 best runs was 32.4 seconds.

XR-A4 and Subversion

The subversion server is finally up, you can access it through the link above. The full source of most current projects is in the directory: AVRRA, XR-SERIES control, XR-A4, and several other projects. I've also posted full schematics to go with XR-A4. The documentation for AVRRA is nearly complete, however, XR-SERIES control is almost entirely undocumented still...

Xr-B3 is alive!

Xr-B3 is Blundering's newest bot. He is a small mapping robot, the first bot to utilize our new AVRRA Pro Board, with onboard XBee wireless, an ATMEGA324, motor drivers, and dual power channels. B3 also has an AVRCam, enabling him to see goal objects. His mapping software is nearly functional in autonomous orthogonal mode. A more advanced mapping algorithm ,based on HIMM and Bayesian methods for occupancy grids is in the works...
